USCG Lake Tahoe A-Frames

 Only Active Duty Military and those patrons listed in COMDTINST M1710.13 (series), Chapter 3-B are authorized to use the MWR A-Frame cabins located at USCG Station Lake Tahoe.

Coast Guard Station Lake Tahoe maintains 4 rental units (a.k.a. A-Frames) on the north/west side of Lake Tahoe just outside of Tahoe City.  SOUTH-1 & SOUTH-2 refers to the A-Frame Unit that is closest to the Lake and NORTH-1 & NORTH-2 refers to the A-Frame Unit that is located closer to the Mountains. They are less than 50 feet away from each other. Both South & North A-Frames are located at 2500 Lake Forest Road, Tahoe City, CA. 96145. All A-Frames are completely furnished.  Units have refrigerators, ranges, microwaves ovens, complete bath facilities, living room furniture and bedroom furniture.  DIRECTV Satellite service is provided.  Dishes, cooking utensils, stainless steel service, toaster, coffee pot and other small household appliances are also available to provide occupants with the necessary essentials for dining in.

Our main goal is to provide approved patrons with a more reasonably-priced lodging option in the heart of one of California's most picturesque settings.  While we are not intended to be a full-service facility, we believe that we provide our patrons with everything they need for a great vacation in the Tahoe area.  We look forward to accommodating you.
